How to Borrow

Request: Please reach out to your department chair to request a laptop from the library. Laptops are typically available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Borrow: If your request is approved, laptops can be checked out from the library help desk during our hours of operation. To pick up laptops, you must provide a valid photo ID (UHMC ID, driver's license, or other government-issued ID).

Return: Equipment must be returned in person by the due date and received by a library staff member. DO NOT leave borrowed equipment outside, and DO NOT return the equipment in the library dropbox. Failure to return equipment by the due date will result in late charges and suspension of borrowing privileges for 30 calendar days.

It is the responsibility of the borrower to delete personal information or passwords that are stored on borrowed equipment before returning the laptops to the library
